VetMAX NA and EU PRRSV Controls are used in multiplex, real-time reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) to simultaneously detect and subtype both North American (NA) and European (EU) Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV). XenoRNA RNA Control is an internal positive control added to the lysis solution during RNA isolation to distinguish PCR inhibition, reaction failure, or human error from true negatives. In a single-tube, one-step reaction, PRRSV RNA is reverse transcribed into cDNA.
